The Teachings of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
The Daiva Sangam follows His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada exclusively. That is Daiva Sangam should not be considered as any of the sub-branches of the Gaudiya Math, or any other math, sampradaya or sanga. The Daiva Sangam is ISKCON in fact if not in name. It is a place where all of the followers of Srila Prabhupada may find shelter outside of the official ISKCON and not feel as if they are abandoning Prabhupada or changing their allegiance to him in any way. Indeed, they will find the Daiva Sangam a place to enthusiastically contribute their energy to his Movement and the freedom to do so without restriction.
The Daiva Sangam accepts and follows the siddhanta of Srila Prabhupada. In areas where Srila Prabhupada's instructions have been equivocal, such as the origin of the jiva, and the position of guru, we follow the Vaishnava siddhanta of consulting with guru, shastra and sadhu. These topics are clearly explained with by these authorities and we accept their conclusions without change. We note that the GBC has not accepted the conclusions of guru, shastra and sadhu on these issues, but have instead created different conclusions. These deviations from Vaishava siddhanta are some of the reasons why we find it necessary to create a distinct sangam.
These issues are discussed on the pages linked on the right, and are the only philosophical content of this website.
Regarding Srila Prabhupada's Edited Books:
The teachings of His Divine Grace are presented in his books and lectures. In order to maintain and protect for posterity the fidelity of his teachings the Daiva Sangam exclusively uses Srila Prabhupda's original, unedited books that are free from un-approved post-humous changes. We have also archived as many lectures and discussions of His Divine Grace as possible. Both the books and lectures/conversations may be downloaded without charge, and we encourage the promulgation of them as widely as possible.
