The Hare Krishna Movement Has Been HijackedSrila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Maharaja warned about the actions of the atheists in Kali: “Kamsa is strongly persuaded that faith in the transcendental can be effectively put down by empiricism if prompt and decisive measures are adopted at the very outset.” Prompt and decisive measures were indeed taken at the very outset. Our Movement has been infiltrated by the agents of Kali who are very clever not to reveal themselves or their purpose. Ordinary devotees cannot see their dirty work. Therefore it doesn’t appear that anything has changed, and in fact, it seems to be quite the contrary—there is a lot of preaching going on! Indeed there is. But we ask, to what end? We push for distribution of more and more books, but to what end? Book distribution for what, exactly? We raise this question because we see that almost everyone in the society follows the status quo without question. Our devotees now are “congregation.” This means that they are all good citizens. They are responsible, they go to university, they have jobs, they don’t question the government, or the works of the global elite. What global elite? The 1%? What’s that? What are all those people protesting about? Indeed, we see that there are millions of ordinary people who are much more aware of what is going on in the world politically, who see how the raksasas have taken control of the world and are hell bent on establishing their New World Order. They have become afraid and they are reacting. There are millions of “preppers” in the U.S. who are preparing for economic turmoil and government martial law, while the devotees of Krishna seem to be totally oblivious to it all. Those preppers were meant to be the people that "would come to our farms by the tens-of-thousands." As we show in great detail in our book “Clash of Civilizations – The Struggle to Establish the Eternal Religion,” the effort of the Kamsas to render religion impotent has been going on for a long time. And there is evidence from a newly released book to support this idea and that shows exactly how the Hare Krishna Movement has been hijacked, disempowered and misdirected. But before we introduce that book let us pose a question: what is the agenda of the Kamsas referred to by Srila Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Maharaja? Let’s quote him: “King Kamsa knows very well that if the faith in the transcendental is once allowed to grow it is sure to upset all his empiric prospects... If the empiric domination is to be preserved in tact it would be necessary not to lose a moment to put down the transcendental heresy the instant it threatens to make its appearance in earnest.” The answer is there: empiric domination. The Kamsas want control. They want to control the world and everything in it. Everything and everybody. That, of course, is the demonic mentality: “so much is mine today and I will gain more according to my schemes...” etc., etc., etc. And how does Kamsa control the world today? With money. How are the people controlled? By requiring them to use money in order to live. And to get money they must have a job, for which they must use and consume so many things all purchased from companies that they own and profit from. Kamsa doesn’t require to control people directly since he controls them as wage slaves, and by manipulation of the economy he tightens the screws more and more to force people to work 10-12-16 hours a day and even then not have enough to survive unless every member of the family does so and then pools their meager resources together. This is going on in many countries and the jobs from America are being sent there while Americans languish or get “service jobs” (now a whopping 25% of jobs in America pay less than $10 an hour, not nearly enough to have a decent life. And if you have a family to support then all the family member are going to be working to survive, just like the Bangladeshis or Indonesians). What is the solution to this problem? Simple: live on the land and grow your own food. Be independent of the money economy. This is what Srila Prabhupada was instructing his followers to do forty years ago, instructions that they neglected. But, you say, there were farm projects and they all failed. Failure, however, is not the problem. Surely to attempt to change the way people live is challenging and there are certain to be failures along the way. The problem is not that we failed, but that we quit—the effort to follow Srila Prabhupada’s instructions to live on the land has long been abandoned by the leaders of the society with very few exceptions. Most of the push to establish farms and villages is now being carried out by devotees who have no official position in the society, and hence less influence. This brings us back to the recent publication mentioned above. That book is “Caesar’s Messiah: the Roman Conspiracy to Invent Jesus,” by Joseph Atwill. Try not to stumble over the word conspiracy as it is a fact that there are conspiracies everywhere. Imagine the CIA, MI5, Mossad, etc. doing their dirty work without conspiracies. Indeed the twin towers in New York were brought down by somebody’s conspiracy; whoever you might attribute that to. Conspiracies are a fact of life in this age, and are “theories” only to the gullible who are easily manipulated (i.e., sudras). The book presents impressive arguments that the New Testament is a complete fiction and the activities ascribed to Jesus were not his but those of the Roman Caesar Titus Flavius. The doubts that immediately arise in the minds of most readers of that statement makes one realize that the myth of Jesus has absolutely been the most successful piece of propaganda in the history of humanity, and you can verify that by observing your reaction. The natural question that arises is “why should they do such a thing?” I am not going to answer that question in detail (for the details please read the book), but cut to the chase. The reason was to “replace the xenophobic Jewish Messianism that waged war against the Roman Empire with a version of Judaism that would be obedient to Rome.” And Atwill adds “the New Testament and the histories of Josephus each imply that the Messiah was not this nationalist leader who had been foreseen, but rather a pacifist who encouraged cooperation with Rome (the ruling power of the time).” In other words the New Testament was written to control the militant messianic Jews who were a major problem for Pax Romana. And this is the very same reason that the Hare Krishna Movement has been infiltrated and hijacked today: to keep everyone under control and prevent them from rocking the boat—and Srila Prabhupada’s Movement was indeed rocking the boat in the late 1970s! Sparked by the Movement’s prominence at that time, to leave the control of the money powers by living independently on the land could have indeed created a back-to-the-land renaissance that would have been difficult to control. Recall that Kamsa’s approach to prevent the spread of the transcendental is to adopt prompt and decisive measures at the very outset. The very outset was the 1970s. Further support for this idea can be found in a 19th Century German scholar, Bruno Bauer, who believed that Christianity was Rome’s attempt to create a mass religion that encouraged slaves to accept their station in life. And we should not be surprised to see that the Hare Krishna “religion” will be positioned in the same way. And so far it is—just chant Hare Krishna and be happy. Atwill asks some other penetrating questions that are difficult for modern Christianity to answer. For example, why was Rome, supposedly the center of Christian persecution, chosen as the church’s headquarters? A Roman origin would explain that as well as why the bishop of Rome was later made the supreme pontiff of the church. It would also explain how a Judean cult eventually became the state religion of the Roman Empire. Further, how did the church’s authority structure come to resemble that of the Roman military? Who established it and who gave the bishops such absolute control? Cyprian wrote: … “The bishop is in the Church and the Church is in the bishop … and if anyone is not with the bishop, that person is not in the Church.” Isn’t this what we hear today? To be considered a member of ISKCON you must accept the absolute authority of the GBC. If you are not with the GBC you are not in the church... All of this (and more—see other parts of this website) brings us to the unhappy conclusion that Srila Prabhupada’s mission has been infiltrated and hijacked to remove the spiritual potency, render it yet another mundane religion whose followers serve the raksasa host by being servants to (their) money and not the Supreme Lord Sri Krishna. And recall please Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Maharaja’s further warning: The best place for the forces of evil to thrive in this damned age of Kali is in the convenient disguise of religion. Yes, even the Hare Krishna religion. Especially the Hare Krishna religion. Do not doubt that history can repeat itself. |
